Default Clutch Upgrade

So, since I am new to the WRX, what seems to be the best clutch kit for this car? I was thinking about a Clutchmasters Stage IV since that is what I run in my Nissans. I keep hearing about tranny failure also, but I know that people who experience might be dumping the clutch at 5500rpm and such. Anyway, some insight will be helpful. Thanks all.

well i think the best clutch for the WRX is OS Genkin super single. it comes with the flywheel. you could get a dual plate OS. but, like you heard the tranney won't last that long. the japanese have these types of clutches in their WRXs for years, they know like what most of us know is that if you upgrade a big important item, think about also upgrading the conponets that is attach to it.

in other words rebuild the tranney with stronger parts, if you upgrade the clutch.
