Default WRX parts in a '99 2.5 RS?

Ok, so I did a search and could not find any info on this. I am sure there is some in the boards, so if someone wants to point me to it, please do as well.

here is my question. would parts of a 2002 wrx fit into a '99 2.5rs?

I have a wrx and am changing stuff, and my roomate has a '99 2.5. Would me exhaust (cat back, mainly midpipe) fit in his car? I would think so...

how about the shocks, springs? all the suspension stuff (maybe not?)

and how about the turbon/IC, etc.. (of course woudl need a new engine managemtn system too?)

so just curious what may fit. mainlly concerned on the exhaust for now since his is shot, and since mine will just be sitting around he might as well use it

thanks!

new WRX exhaust system uses 3-bolt muffler flanges, but old-style 2.5RS uses 2-bolt style. You can have a shop modify it to fit for cheap probably. I think that everything else works OK, but I haven't done this so I'm not sure. Search and you'll find a few threads about this.

Yea the exhaust will work, just need to relocate some brakets, that a shop can do for like $50. The turbo and IC should work but you will probally want to do a little more other then just a turbo, IC and Engine Mang. Youll want to coston Fab a kit.
