Default Anybody around Chicago have an 02-07 on stands?

I'm planning to fabricate a light bar and skid plate for my car but I don't have a garage or driveway, and while I have jackstands, I just have the wimpy wind-up jack.

If someone has a car that's up on blocks or on a lift, I'd really appreciate being able to come over for an hour or two and take some measurements of potential mounting points, etc.

How crazy are you looking to go with the lightbar? I used a few feet of 1" x 1" steel tubing, some 1/4-20 bolts, and two 3/8-16 threaded rods to mount to the bumper beam. It's pretty damn strong, and took very little measurement. Subaru conveniently has two holes perfectly spaced and sized for the 3/8" threaded rod in the bumper beam already. My only concern is how much easier the airbags would get set off.

It doesn't look nearly as nice as a Gorilla bar, but it was cheap ($17 in material) and easy to make

I have a 05 wrx on stands ..

And you can copy the skid plate that's sitting on the floor by the car.

It's a nice one made by some rally company but I forgot which one. PM me if you want.
