I have received the paperwork from the dealer to document the engine and clutch replacement, so it is available upon request.

If I had a bit more money I would def ask more about this but I don't want to insult you with a lower offer. Too bad too because this is almost exactly what I'm looking for. Nice to see a clean unmolested wrx

Coming up on the 60,000 mile mark the engine was making a faint rattle near the oil pan. Since the warranty was almost up, we opted to take it into the dealer. They suspected it was a possible bearing noise (but couldn't confirm until the engine was tore down), and given the warranty mileage expiration date approaching, they felt the best way to proceed would be swapping in a new short block. While the engine was out we paid for a new clutch and flywheel.
