Wink Uh, did you add 50 psi to my tires?

I took my car in for the first scheduled service, which included checking/adjusting the air pressure in the tires. I think they may have taken all the air out of the front tires and put it in the rears.

I actually got the rear end out on an exit ramp. I wasn't really paying attention for a second as I glanced in the back seat for a second looking for a cd (yeah, I know, classic idiot move). All of a sudden, there I was getting waaaaay to close to the curb, so I cut the wheel, and lo and behold, the tail came out. Later, after I bought gas, I was turning right out of the station and I gunned it. Again, the tail came out and I found my front wheel dangerously close to the curb and myself staring through the front windshield at the gas station that was previously behind me. I actually had opposite lock on to correct it; I was amazed I turned the wheel enough that fast to do that.

I have come to one of three conclusions. 1) They really screwed with the air pressure in my tires. 2) Instead of changing the oil they changed the engine to an STi. 3) I may have finally stumbled onto the trick to getting the rear end to come out. Hopefully it's number three and I can try some more practice.

I must have things backwards...

I thought putting more air in the fronts and less in the rear will help get the rear out (or at least this has been my experience).

For example I run 36 front 34 back.

Good thing you weren't hurt! Getting crossed up unexpectedly is no fun. Now when you *mean* to do it that is a whole other story

I miss powersliding every corner in my good ole '89 bmw

I wish I still had that car...if only the oil stayed in the engine and not the ground, I might have it still
