Default 2000 Subaru RSTi $8500

Need a change of pace, looking to sell my GC.

This is a 2000 2.5RS coupe in Blue Ridge Pearl. It has 128k-ish on the odometer. I rarely drive it. It was originally swapped by ECS with a 2002 WRX motor years ago, that spun a bearing and I had the block professionally replaced with a brand new factory STi block. I haven't cut any corners with this car, and have always used the highest quality parts. As with any older, modified car it has a few small needs. I need a daily driver and not a fast car at the moment.

It has an EJ257 block with less than 3000 miles on it, a nicely done 6 speed swap, and a VF37 (factory twinscroll...very sweet!).

2002 WRX heads, machined and refreshed for the 2.5L hybrid swap
2.5L STi oil pan
Killer B oil pickup

DCCD Pro Universal controller
V7 Driveshaft
R160 rear end (this saves you the hassle of really expensive rotors and such)

So the good:
The car runs and drives, has a really unique engine setup, comes with tons and tons and tons of spares (yes, that's right, there are two full sets of suspension with it). Also comes with things like an R160 with a mechanical LSD that you can install, super rare. I have aluminum STI front control arms that will go with it, a cusco under diff, rear strut bar, some whiteline adjustable lateral links that need a refresh, roof rack if you want it, and more etc etc. Also has a fresh power steering pump, comes with a TON of impossible to find Tokyo Roki black oil filters, etc.

The bad:
Needs to have the turbo swapped, this one has a sticking wastegate and only gets up to 14PSI (roughly 10% of the time it will only boost to 14psi, otherwise it easily makes full boost of 19psi). It will come with a spare VF37 in great condition for you to swap in! Some of the gauges aren't wired up, the paint has definitely seen better days, one of the speakers is crackling (might just be wiring) and there is a very slight grind when downshifting into 5th.

That said, this is a sweet car that needs a little attention. I am beyond busy at this point in my life and I cannot spend time working on cars. As much as I want to keep this car (believe me, I do, I have poured thousands upon thousand of dollars into it) I cannot. I never, ever thought I would post this ad. I want this car to go to someone who will truly enjoy it.

I am not interested in negotiating unless you have an AWD manual BMW to offer or some sort of decent SUV / pickup.

There is a bit about the size of a dime on one of the rear quarters, it's surface only though and not rot. So minor it's not something I even really notice. Walked around the car just now to double check.
