Dude sometimes a car like this is not even worth working on anymore. Sounds like whoever did work before you was not a tech but a wanna be tech and now it sounds like you're married to the car. I feel your pain and I wish you luck man. I think personally with the way this car is a sealant won't work and the only way to go is taking the propper steps. That's just me, sometimes the best way is the hardest way.

oh boy folks. another fun update with this kid:

he's since sold the car. guess what he wants to buy instead?

why, a twin turbo SUPRA of course!

here i am trying to convince this kid that supra's are what you might call "unforgiving" and he is going to kill himself/someone else with the thing. this kid, who was until recently driving around in a car that was dangerously unroadworthy as described above, with brakes working at about 40% capacity (i could not even get them to the point of lockup when they were completely cold) and TOWING A JET SKI with them, that then even noticed this and said "yeah i was having trouble stopping a few times with that" and KEPT DOING IT, then responds by telling me he is (and i quote) "not a stupid driver".

this would be funny if it wasn't so terrifying.

Someone else PURCHASED that car?
I'll hope it was for scrap purposes.

Man that kid sounds like a douche bag. Very entertaining read though. Thanks for sharing.

Wow indeed. If he could barely afford to fix the S**t-box of a mess that last car was, how in the hell could he afford a TT supra? Over here in the states, those things sell for obscene amounts of cash because they are considered a rare collectors car.
