Default Do i need a tune

Hey guys, just got an 04' wrx and It has a cold air intake and cat back exhaust. Should I get it tuned? Also, how much would it cost to get it tuned

yes you will need a tune and places where I live (ohio) charge anywhere from 300-350$ a tune.

yeah I should get a tune. and probably 500 or less depending on the tune

you don't have to tune really for a catback

The cold air, yes. You could also just get an accessport, sell your cold air, and get a short ram for about the same price

You don't need a tune at all. Everybody ran those mods and more with no tune when these came out. Wouldn't hurt though.

Without a tune the car will run fine but your horse power gains are slim to none you have nothing to loose but the cost of tuning if you go that route but it will not hurt the car to run it without one
