Post Wow! Did I have a great weekend!!!

Hey all,
I just spent the last 2 days at Second Creek with the Audi Quattro Club.
Saturday morning we did three exercises: Braking Threshold, Slalom, and Lane Toss.
Saturday afternoon and today was all track time.
My instructor was Larry Boyer (VP of the National Quattro Club visiting from Wisconsin). He was awesome and taught me a lot about driving in general and Second Creek.

By today I was lapping much faster that most of the Audi's (all of which had more power). They pulled away from me on the straights, but I caught up very rapidly in the corners.

The whole weekend only 1 car came up on my bumper (and I let him by), but several cars were letting me by each session.

I was amazed at how well my 2001 2.5 RS handled....and so was everyone else (and I don't even have my P1 suspension in yet).

Now I just need more power.

Anyone up for hitting Second Creek sometime?

I am! I'm new to all this stuff but let me tell you, I have the driving bug bad. I keep taking my car out at like 2 in the morning flogging it around on the mountain twisties just to get my fix...

Bring on cones and competition!

I definitely want to go sometime soon.
Just got my AGX/H&R setup on.
Sounded like a good time.
