UTEC at track (road)
I'm going to be running my car at Watkins Glen this weekend with the UTEC and the Stage 2 93 Octane map. Should I do anything to increase my margin of safety for running at the track?

Re: UTEC at track (road)
Use higher octane race gas like VP103 unleaded race gas or similar (or at least mix some in with your 93 octane pump gas). You will run effectively richer, which means you will run cooler. Also, consider turning on the ECT correction in the UTEC. Maybe add 0.5% fuel if ECT goes above 95C. Both of these things will slightly decrease peak power, but should keep your engine running cooler and should significantly reduce the risk of engine damaging detonation.
If you plan to track your car regularly and have not already done so, consider replacing your uppipe with a catless uppipe.
