Default Help Mishimoto Design a 2015 WRX Cat-Back Exhaust

Hey guys,

As many of you know, we are working toward completing a few prototype units for our cat-back design for the 2015 WRX. Our entire department is in a bit of a stalemate for deciding the style of tip we should use on our product. Instead of continually arguing, we decided we should poll the kind folks on Nasioc to see what features you would prefer on the tips for a cat-back on your 2015 WRX. Options are listed below, let us know what you think!

1. Tip Design
A. Slash Cut
B. Straight Cut

2. Tip Count
A. Quad Tip (2 on each side)
B. Dual Tip (1 on each side)

3. Tip Finish
A. Chrome
B. Burnt Chrome
C. Black Chrome

4. Tip Construction
A. Double Wall
B. Single Wall

5. Tip Size

A. 3.0"
B. 3.5"
C. 4.0"

All we need is a simple ABC answer in the format below. Let us know what you think!

1. A/B
2. A/B
3. A/B/C
4. A/B
5. A/B/C

Thanks for the assistance!

What about a square/rectangle style tip that follows the lines of the rear diffuser? single or double tips with some meat in the thickness and edge. Or ovals?

With all the hard, sharp lines on the WRX, I would definitely be interested in at least seeing a mockup of some sculpted square tips

Thanks for the recommendation guys! Adding a rectangular option is definitely a possibility.

We are still in the prototyping phase of this particular project, we do not have any pricing available. Once we get a bit further along in the process, we should have a better idea of where we will be priced.

Thanks!

Straight As.

I don't have a 2015, so it's not my market, but if I were looking, that's what I'd get. Slash cut fits the bumper shape angle better. Quad also fits the bumper shape better, plus quad looks cooler. I picked chrome as it's universally good and will work well with any color car. Double wall tips have nicer dimension, less plain. 3" size because well, I'm not a flashy person and don't need people fisting my rear end. There's a fine line between tuner and ricer.

p.s. Bravo for the vote system. I'd love to see more aftermarket manufacturers/suppliers involve the public in the selection/development process. It's refreshing to see.

It would be nice if you can come out with a 3 inch exhaust that's not loud, I think there is huge market for this.
