![]() Pushing the power levels beyond stock and the factory intercooler will eventually become less efficient. It will become a bottleneck for power production. The Killer B Motorsport Aftercooler will provide additional flow capacity, and utilize what we feel is the highest efficiency air to air core currently available. In short it will handle more flow and not be overcome by heatsoak like the OEM unit.

![]() ^ Yes definitely. The factory I/C actually does a pretty decent job, especially at stage I levels from what I can tell. It's a quality core in a compact size and some less than ideal design queues that works fine at those power levels. Beyond that, it WILL be a performance bottleneck since there is only so much CFM available and the end tank design is not flow friendly as well. I am looking forward to testing

![]() Nothing exciting, but if you want the boring details... Got to looking at the end tanks and the more I looked at the passenger side end tank the less I liked it. Simulations show the endtank not to be a restriction or overly turbulent, but it just rubbed me the wrong way. So I redesigned it. New end tank should be arriving soon and we'll continue with progress.

![]() I always wondered why motorsport companies don't show simulation details. There must be more people like me that are utterly fascinated by well annotated charts, graphs, and simulation results. Not to mention that I am more convinced by simulation details and testing numbers than I am by brand names or typical advertising crap. Screenshots plz?

![]() This was a different question than that of the other thread my question in this thread was if anybody removed the restrictor pill? I have sent two sets of logs to bren on rev 1 and no revisions in return.

I installed my Killer B j-pipe and intermediate pipe and indeed had to remove the restrictor pill. When I left it in there the car was only able to hit 14 psi max when my friend/slash was tuning the car. We ended up using a different hose being that the little pill was going to be almost impossible to remove from in there. After the hose was replaced we hit target boost fine. |

You have to remove the pill, not trying to be a jerk but why are you even asking this again? Brendan said to remove it for any stage 2 tunes, Cobb said it MUST be removed, ideally you should also buy and install an electronic boost control solonoid as well. Perrin will have one out very shortly for about 115$ Killer B, im patiently waiting for you to release the top mount, thats my next mod, along with an ecbs. Excited, thats for sure. |
