Question 2004 Forester XT Blown Valve Lost Compression

So my wife's 2004 Forester XT, Black Pearl, died on her while driving. Took it to the local subaru dealership. They did a compression test. One of the cylinders had 0%. Not good. Probably a blown valve, with cylinder and piston damage. it has 150,000 on it. New catalytic convertor just a few hundred miles ago. This car was a beast other than it started to get progressively bad gas mileage near the end. I need to get it moved from the dealers back lot. What is it worth at this point?

Most I have seen is 3500 if its 5 speed clean no rust to 2k the lowest. Good luck on your car. My other FXT just threw a rod but I'm planning on keeping it for a while and get a new motor.

What if anything more did you find out or what did you end up doing? My sis in law just experienced the same issue.
