Question Twister muffler and high-flow cat questions

My downpipe should be coming in next week. I made an appt with the exhaust shop to get the rest of the exhaust completed. I will have a 3" downpipe, then a 3" high flow cat and I *was* going to get a 3" straighpipe done for the rest. I didnt figure it would be THAT loud.

Well after running my car with 2 cats and my 2.5" straightpipe for a little while, I realized that I will *need* a muffler. I talked to the muffler shop and he told me about the "twister" muffler by flo-pro. http://www.flopro.com/Twister.htm

Anyone ever heard of this thing? Is it just like the BPM series mufflers? He told me it flows 99% of what a straight pipe will, with quite a reduction in noise.

Also a high-flow cat question. Do all high flow cats have the honeycomb in them? He showed me a 3" highflow cat, I don't remember what brand it was, but it still had the honecombs in it. Granted the honeycomb holes were 2x what the stock ones were. I thought the high flow cats looked like a glass pack or something similar, rather then just a honeycomb with bigger holes.

The reason Im going all custom is the cost, and the "custom" aspect of it. It will cost me $250 for the muffler, high flow cat, and piping. Then should be another $100 in labor. He will also make the muffler a "slip on" so if I really wanted to, I could just pull it off the car and slip on the straight pipe replacement he will also make me.

Same concept as the bpm mk3/twister muffler. Just put three of those into a triangular formation and that's ESSENTIALLY the bpm mk3 muffler.
