Default First time at the track...no times

So here are some videos of my car at the 1/4 mile for the first time. My apologies for launching very lame in the beginning, new to launch control and flat foot shifting. The second day I had everything set right, minus the ripped off bpv hose racing a SS Chevelle.

Also my first time trying to edit anything... I plan on starting on the local meets, shows, events, repairs/installs and making videos of them. If anyone is interested just subscribe/like and that would be awesome at 509STiFAN on youtube, I plan on getting more equipment soon to get better videos.

Night Racing and grudge matches are coming up... See if I can get that SS Chevelle back against me again.

2nd race) was getting horrible flutter dump and the top 2k rpms were bouncing. Found my bpv hose ripped off after the race, he was smoking after.

Does anyone have a similar setup that we could compare dyno results and numbers? I am new here to posting, if maybe there is an area I could look that someone could point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it, Thank you.

Looks like he may have had JDM gears.

I was wondering why it seemed so much more aggressive in the top of the gears. I will ask him, got his number. It also may have been me shifting to early at 6000-6500 tops, he was shifting at 7500. Not sure though.

Yes, with your build shifting at 6000-6500 is practically lugging the engine. My setup, similar to yours, doesn't even make full hp until 6600rpm. I shift at 7200 myself on hard pulls, rev limiter is set at 7400 rpm.

Thanks for the info and advice. I am new to Subaru as of a couple years back, definitely my favorite so far though. Always had built Mazda or Ford before
