Default Topcoat f11 - anyone tried this?

https://topcoat.store/pages/getf11

Just curious if anyone here has had experience with this. Looking for something to leave in my car to quickly clean

no personal experience with it. I say buy it and give a review of your impressions.

They claim to be a wash and coating in one. Depending on the dwell time after spraying the product on determines how the product behaves. Their demo videos require 2 towels for the initial wipe and a final buff. That would lead me to believe that the product can streak pretty easily, but again no personal experience with it.

If you are looking into keeping something in your car at all times as a "quick clean" product, I would buy a waterless wash product (safer then a quick detailer) as they are relatively easy to find at most stores (i.e. Target, Walmart, PepBoys, Autozone, etc). This product claims to fit the bill in this regard but since other products are more easily attainable, I would buy ONR and fill a chem spray bottle at 256:1 dilution.

Yes, I am currently using it as a replacement wax/sealant and absolutely LOVE it. My car has never shined as much as it does with Topcoat F11. The product is not a wash in any way. The way I use it and would recommend to others, is to wash and decon the car, strip the old wax and sealant off with dawn dish soap, clay if needed, polish any swirls and light scratches out, rinse off car again and dry, then apply a few sprays to a folded microfiber to pre saturate it and start spraying and spreading the product with that same towel. Let it dry for 5-10 min and then use a clean microfiber to remove the excess product. It will look almost like you are chasing a streak in the paint while you remove it, but once you have it all removed (work in good lighting to see any streaks) the paint has a ridiculous amount of depth and gloss as well as some good hydrophobic properties. I have not had to do a single traditional wash since applying this stuff, just a light pressure washing and dry. I will be cleaning my car today, i will get some pics up of how it looks using this product (which i just re-ordered in the one gallon container)

If you use this stuff to spray on the car when it is dirty, you will end up with a streaky mess with dirt and dust mixed into the product. If they market this stuff as a "quick detail or waterless wash" it def does not fit that bill. It is more like a sealant than anything else.

They make some pretty big claims about this product (improved mileage for example) without being willing to back it up and that kinda rubs me the wrong way. Seems snake oily to me.

Was curious about f11 as it keeps popping up all over facebook. Curious how long it last compared to a traditional wax or sealant?

That's good to know. Appreciate the insight and feedback.

All these ads have big claims so I tend not to believe them and would rather rely on people's experiences

It's basically a spray sealant. They make claims that it's a superior product to ceramic coatings which simply isn't true. F11 can be removed with a basic IPA solution where ceramic coatings actually harden and form a bond to paint, only way to remove is through polishing. So yeah when they make claims like that, they lose their credibility with me.
