Default Experience Unpaved Roads Westchester

UPDATE!!
Drive Date: May 6, 2018 Sunday
Rain Date: May 20, 2018 Sunday
Meet Location: The Container Store
145 Westchester Ave.
White Plains, NY 10601
Meet Time: 9am
Depature Time: 10am Sharp

Hey guys I am starting this new thread. I already host drives in Westchester. They go quite well and still gaining traction with it.
This drive will cater to Subaru owners who want to explore unpaved roads. Westchester County is loaded with Historic unpaved roads that are well maintained. This is only for Subarus that havent been lowered at all. Yeah the roads are maintained but arent ideal for lowered cars.
I know the attendance will be low due to the fact it is unpaved. So I appreciate anyone who is willing to explore these unpaved roads.

I've been finding some fun ones the last few weeks in Cross River and North and South Salem. They're a great way to avoid traffic on the morning commute Every now and then I'll run into a piece where I have to slow down in my BRZ but for the most part it's rally time and good fun

Yeah the roads great. The drive just happens to go through the Cross River and North Salem area. I am looking to have this drive in March to start off my driving events. There are so many unpaved roads throughout Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess County. I will map out the drive as soon as I get it done. It will great to see you guys come out for this out of the ordinary drive.

Hey guys I finished outlining this drive. It's going to be a great drive with lots of unpaved roads to experience. Obviously this isn't just unpaved roads. It consist of roads I have used in previous drives.
Since this drive contains unpaved roads I strongly recommend only stock height Subarus. Lowered Subarus might not fair well with these roads. They are groomed yet still have low and high spots throughout.
Bring a friend along. There will be lots to see on this scenic drive. Bring a camera to capture these sights.
The end of drive will be a time where we can decide on a place to eat. The drive ends in White Plains so there will lots of good food spots.
Once again this is going to great drive and I hope to see plenty of Subarus come out.

im interested in possibly doing this, however, I am lowered on RCE black springs (wagon specific) on Koni struts which lower the car about an inch or so. So i'm not terribly low or slammed - your opinion on how i'd fair on this?

To be honest you will be fine. I have taken these roads before when I had my Mazda Miata and it was lowered too about 2inches. The roads are maintained and we won't be blasting through them anyway. It's more of a scenic experience.

Looks like this drive is getting a lot of attention. Its going to be very fun with loads of great roads with twist, turns, curves, and elevation changes.

I'm interested. Probably going to take the girlfriend's FXT. I have two Outbacks but my 2017 3.6r is pampered and I feel like this won't be fun in my lifted 2nd gen Outback / 3rd gen Legacy
