Question Harnesses ok with 4 point roll bar? (street/track)

Just out of curiosity. I will most likely be having a custom 4 point roll bar made for my time on the track. Yet i dont want a full 6 point cage for the street (head + bar = ouch). Now, since the 4 point roll bar is in fact roll over protection, would it hold up enough in a roll over situation on the street or track to allow the use of harnesses?

PS correct the title, 4 point, not 5

I recently came to the conclusion that I would never wear a harness without neck protection. My thinking is that when your shoulders are pinned hard against the seat, in a forward impact, all the force gets put onto your neck via your head snapping forward without your shoulders/upper body to absorb some of that force.

On the track, I have a helmet and neck brace, so all is (reasonably) well. On the street is a different story. As far as actual rollover protection, you know what they say, no device can protect you from all forseeable impacts.
