Default My 997 Turbo - Modified Stage IV

I started with a 2002 WRX and have been playing with Turbo AWD cars ever since

Here is my latest machine - a 2007 997 Turbo

Mods include - upgraded turbo wheels - Cobb Access Port - ID1300 Injectors - 3" catted exhaust - AMS intercoolers - Turbo inlet hoses - clutch

it is making 750 hp on 93 octane and 850 hp on E85 here is a video of the project on pump gas

It is kind of like a backwards STI - turbo - boxer motor - AWD but the motor is in the back

When you blow the engine on this one too, are you gonna try to get the dealer to pay for it again?

Just saying hello to you guys - many people thought that I gave up modifying and driving fast cars - yes I am a single digit member and one of the first to get involved in seriously modified turbo USDM WRX's back in the days - that was a long time ago . . . still doing the same thing on a different platform. One day I will own another Subaru again - in fact I am thinking to pick one up in the fall. All the best

2002 Stamford Subaru references ftw

FYI - this car is a 2007 - it is well out of warranty - and by the way . . .

When a Subaru engine blows up - (which is not entirely uncommon due to the weak ring lands) it is not the dealer that pays for the repair but rather Subaru the manufacturer

If you are referencing my USDM 2002 WRX - I shipped over a JDM C Spec Complete cut in half car in 2002 and created what was then the first STI conversion running in the US - that motor never blew up and in fact is still running today in another car out in Arizona I believe despite having been run with a rotated mount Gt30 and a 75 shot of NOS

I do not recall ever attempting to get the now defunct Stamford Subaru that was owned by a different dealer to ever work on my car but it has been 17 years since I bought that car so I guess anything is possible

For the record the new Stamford Subaru - new location - is owned by a different group and my car was never in that facility but I used to buy blown up motors from them to use in my rebuilds and I have a couple that I am keeping just in case

Thanks man - I am missing my Subaru these days - here was my last Video in my Subaru before I sold it in which I considered the tremendous value proposition which Subaru affords when it comes to bang for the buck

Too bad I did not have a bigger garage as I would certainly include a Subaru in it - ultimate snow vehicle also

You check a lot of the self absorbed boxes people negatively stereotype Porsche owners around. You should work on that.

So, is that a 18 year ignore list or did it take a couple years first?

Oh literal Al.

You still doing 90+ down side streets in Stamford? How about that animal in the modded yellow Evo? Did he wrap himself around a tree at some point? Fingers crossed.

So glad I don't live there anymore.
