Default 2014 forester xt touring off-road mods

Would like to make my 2014 xt touring more off-road capable. was thinking 2 inch lift,torq locker,skid plates along with tires/wheels. understand that I will need 17 inch wheels to clear calipers. my first post. Thanks

Not sure how into offroading you're going to get, but if available, get some rock sliders for the sides. I know on my Wrangler, if I didn't have them, by now, I'd be unable to get out of any of my 4 doors.
