![]() It’s a cool looking car and I could deal with the AT, but both are about $10k more than I’d be willing to spend.

![]() That blue is my fav for a sports car. I would buy another Miata ND RF in that colour in a heartbeat, but I'm not sold on this car.
It seems to me that they might bring out significant improvements yearly to boost sales. A manual is quite possible. This car with a manual would be a reasonable argument over the Corvette with the auto. The 4-banger at $43k is a terrible idea without a manual. What an expensive poseur. |

![]() I love that people forget the STI is so expensive at this point and think the Supra should be cheaper.

If you can't see the difference between the two brands pricing structures by now, then spend a few minutes on their respective websites and spec out a couple run of the mill models; don't worry we'll still be here when you get back. |

![]() Not sure how I feel about the black stripe.
I like the effect it gives, but I don’t like the stripe itself. |

I think the price is fair at 45-47k with the inline 6 and a manual. The car is hot, the thing has solid power, handling, etc. Just needs a manual and a little bit of a price drop. ![]() |

People will gladly pay $43K for a 4-banger if it's a luxury car i.e. BMW or MB. Sadly although the Supra is almost all BMW (including the interior!), the badge doesn't have the same pedigree to make it worth $43K to most people because let's be real - when someone buys a 430i for $43K (which btw has less power than the Supra 2.0), they're only doing it for the badge and to show off to their pleb friends ![]() |

![]() For reference the BMW Z4 2.0 is $49,700 & a 1993 non-turbo Supra was $33,900.
Pricing seems on par for the 2.0. The cheap 4 banger with 3 pedals is the 86. |

![]() Sucks you can't drive with the windows down. Stupid design flaw. Otherwise a nice car. Love that Refraction A91 edition. Normally I do not dig stripes but I actually don't hate it on this car.

![]() I mean I guess it depends on how you view the 2.0 Supra. I can't imagine that people would buy it for any type of prestige despite being mostly BMW, since there's no luxury badge. I'm talking about "regular people" here. And as an enthusiast I would do whatever I could to get the 3.0 if the price difference is only $7K.
Looking at it as an enthusiast, the Mustang is $35K for the 5.0 and the 370Z is around $30K for 330ish HP and what most would call good handling/a "driver oriented" car, despite being suuuuuuper long in the tooth. These are just the 2-door RWD options too, not even considering other cars worth looking at in this price point i.e. Stinger GT, G70, etc. Are the dynamics/features/tech in the Supra 2.0 worth an extra $10K and losing quite a bit of power? Again, it depends who you ask, but I would imagine it's a hard sell for enthusiasts (based on the alternative options) and for regular folks alike (yes Z4 2.0 and other BMW 2.0s are more expensive, but it has a BMW badge which regular people will gladly pay for over a Toyota badge). I know it is probably physically impossible for them to price it at $35K given the costs of manufacturing/R&D/etc. which is BMW through and through, I'm just saying that I don't feel the 2.0 is a good value proposition at its price point given the competition and the optics. I feel they should have just kept it exclusively 3.0, OR offer 3 pedals in the 2.0 to really sway over the enthusiast crowd. On a related note, the HP numbers of the 2.0 Supra has really killed my hope for the new 86/BRZ receiving any substantial bump in power. I would be surprised if we get more than 15-20 more HP than the outgoing model. |

![]() Ha ha ha no kidding. I'm getting a good laugh at the people here saying a BMW coupe on a dedicated RWD platform should be stickering at or below the price of a Civic Type R or STI which are both based on $20k compact platforms. iDrive alone is worth $1000 over the below par infotainment systems in a Civic or Impreza or even any Lexus vehicle. The ZF8 is a premium transmission that you won't find in any other car of this price. The Supra's a good value. Deal with it.

![]() Going to correct my post as I speed read and didn't catch it was the 2.0 model. Yeah, I'd say $35k base and $40k max loaded is where it should be. Maybe I could see a max price of $42k loaded.
