Default Can you shut off hill assist in a 2011 WRX?

Iíve heard people say you can shut it off in 2015+ Subaruís but does anyone know how to in the 2011? Iíve tried the sequence for the 2015 and nothing seems to happen. Maybe Iím doing it wrong Iím not sure.

Yeah, I never knew a way to turn it off. I pretty much adapted to a new way of driving my WRX. Basically I would never held the brake pedal and clutch pedal on a hill at the same while taking off. I would always quickly take my foot off the brake pedal, depress the clutch and take off. It may sound odd to some, but I cannot stand any electronic interference. I don't need traction control, stability control, brake assist, etc. I only need 3 pedals, 4 wheels, and a performance engine.
