Love BMW new s58. The m340 xdrive Wow nice..I would of purchased if I could find one not loaded up with options. At 60/65k I'll grab the m3 or Vette.

I really Dislike the Cluster BMW is using (picture 4). Sucks. While on the topic. The Red analog Gauges in the new Type S. Sucks..Can't see them in Daylight.

I like the Analog not the Red. The white in the A spec is far better then Red in Type S.

I like the way Porsche does it with the analog tach and digital speedo/info.

Agreed, I like the analog tach. Speedo can be digital, doesn’t bother me but there is something about an analog tach that I just think is a timeless look in a vehicle.

Can you not order BMWs anymore?

The only thing I like about these are the seats. And BMW seats usually look great but aren't very comfortable long term.

i feel the same for the most part. i just couldn't get over the interior though. between the cheaper material quality and overall design i just couldn't do it.

Good point about ordering. I really didn't think of that when commenting, I guess yes. I'm just in a funk because basically everything is over MSRP, or like the Vette orders cancelled, pushed to 2022, chip shortage, etc. So it's really doggy dog out there as fas as buying. I think the the Accord Sport 2liter with ten speed is solid purchase another great car. But your pay sticker. This generation came out in 2018. Should walk into a dealer write a check and get easy 2k off the sticker. n2oiroc yes I agree but man that engine pulls it's addicting, but for how long ..you made solid purchase in S4. Maybe a type s will be different after a good drive. Also, I think the type S might be a lot different after a tune.
The new Accord 2 liter with a tune is night day. Then there is the six cylinder Mazda 6 down the pike.

Build your bmw online and email the build to several dealers. Should be able to get 6-10% off MSRP. Lots of people on the forums are getting those deals.

I liken them to watches. Analog always ages appropriately, whereas most digital watches don't. Time will tell with smart watches, but if cellphones and TVs are any indicator, they won't age well.

smart watches don't age well; mainly I mean they don't last, my wife had one for like ~2 years and it started to fail (battery life), she bought a new one, now about 6months in, and she doesn't really use any of the smart functions anymore; it's just an expensive digital watch, and I'm sure in 1.5 years from now, she will be looking to replace it, because of battery life....
