Default Question about brake pads for big brakes

1st, please excuse my ignorance. I do not know much on this subject.

That said, I need new brake pads for my front brakes. I have Wilwood 4 pot big brakes with 13" rotors. I bought the kit used and just used the brake pads that came with it.

I am assuming that brake pads for the stock brakes will not work. Am I right?
What "size" brake pads will I need? Or if I just go to a brake shop, will they be able to figure it out?

Thanks for the assistance.

Oh and my car is a 2001 GC8.

I'm not sure what size they are, but I assume they're all part number-ed, just like everything else. No, the OEM ones won't work. Caliper design is very different.

Most major brake pad manufacturers have pads to fit the major caliper/big brake systems that are out there. Porterfield should have them, as should Pagid and some others....

You could always write to Wilwood for the size you need, I guess.
