Default MAPerformance 22 WRX Intake

Our 2022 WRX Intake has been designed with ease of installation and aesthetics as top priorities, as the MAF housing and inlet pipe have already been proven to work very well on the 2015 WRX.

This system re-uses the 2015 intake roto-molded inlet pipe and coupler, with a slightly tweaked clip-together cast MAF housing. The MAF housing features a new interface with two tongues to locate the airbox, as well as the circular MAF boss for the WRX. In theory, the airbox front snorkel should be able to be installed and removed by means of just the two push pins on the cowl trim just as the factory snorkel is designed.

This means that installing engine bay dress-ups and other aesthetic parts will be a breeze. As well as servicing the filter will be just as it was on the OEM intake. Two stout stainless steel brackets hold the MAF housing in place, which keeps the cast and plastic components from rubbing on anything in the engine bay. The design impetus for our intakes is always to match an OE level of exterior styling, but within the engine bay. A lot of work was done to make sure that the clean lines of the front end were carried through and into the intake airbox.
