Post Good clutch/flyhweel setup for a 2.5 RS? >>>

Ok... I'm looking at a 2.5 RS, and I may end up getting it... But my major grip is I think the clutch is rather mushy. My current car is a '91 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo with an aftermarket Dual Plated Clutch and Flywheel Package from OS Giken. Needless to say its a LOT firmer and harder to push in than a stock clutch on a Z and even more so when compared with the 2.5 RS! I actually had a hard time reverting to the RS clutch when I test drove it... Must have looked like a retard to the salesman. Anyway... Who has aftermarket clutches that have a firmer pedal feel? I think the clutch on this 2.5 is going anyway... Its a '99 w/ over 44k miles on it!! And I may just replace the clutch and flywheel after I buy it. Any suggestions? How much should I be expecting to spend?

Thanks,
KaZ

The ACT street clutch provides plenty of grip and still manages to feel stock. Your Grandma wouldn't know the difference. I like mods that stay invisible until you look for them. If you want pedal feel see Primitive in the links for one of their3-600 bhp puck clutches. Obtrusive in traffic. But you can lunch trannies with either.

And for flywheel, the Unorthodox 11-pounder is the way to go...

Kewl... Thanks for the replies. But I'm looking for something that has a firmer pedal feel than stock. Stock feels way to mushy to me. Are there any clutches that have increased pedal firmness? My Z's Clutch I'm told is rather difficult to push to the floor, but I drive the car daily and think nothing of it... but then everything else is mushy as hell to me. so...

Thanks,
KaZ

Well, you can also go with an Exedy Sport Clutch, or Clutch Masters' Stage 3 w/ JC Sports Chromolly 12lb fly wheel
