![]() Its funny because youll probably find more forums (Like on reddit) about guys tuning the CVT in the 2020 XT's and above, but when it comes to a WRX, dudes be like "Nope" lol. People have opted for the JB4 as far as what I have seen on the Outback XTs. IF you do, go for something like that, I would advise a "Light" tune; at least before someone blows their 2.4 up and we can clearly see the tolerances of the trans. Outback XT has a higher torque rating due to its 6 Spd Auto config. WRX supposedly runs an 8spd config in the SPT. Only the WRX has the SPT trans.

![]() ![]() Engine is absolutely solid! Beefier rods and direct injection means detonation/ringland problems in the EJs and bent rods in the FA20DITs are a thing of the past. 2.4L twin scroll turbo is a blast with instant torque augmented further with mods. It’s more than enough driving on public roads ![]() Also Terry and Canon on the burgermotorsport forums are very responsive and helpful ![]() Last edited by user1029; 03-21-2023 at 02:36 PM. |

![]() The Outback XT is rated to tow 3500lbs so the transmission (now with OEM cooler) should be able to handle +60wtq
