Question Rallispec Intake for MY99RS

I know this has been covered but allow me to blame this post on the search function being down.
The company is great I know...I was just wondering How you like your Rallispec Cold air intake, noise, reliability, performance.
I want to put one on my 99RS i currently have a Weapon-R with a K&N filter. Never had a problem with it and I like the giant THrush noise...please let me know what you think????? $350.00 is alot so I want to go into the purchase educated.

I have a MY00 and the only difference is the the air sensor mount. The noise is incredible - it drowns out my Rallispec 2.5" N1 at full throttle. Power gains are good.
I love mine.

I believe Revision got the first MY99 intake, he's got a big section up on the web about the installation. 8Complex also helped with the install, so he might be a good person to ask as well.

Thumbs up

I have a 99 with the Rallispec intake and I love it. No problems after around 7500 mi. I still have the original MAF (30k total). The thing about their intake that stands out is the attention to detail (fit/finish, hood spacers, heat shield). They claim an 8 or 9 hp gain, but it sure feels like more, especially in colder weather. On the noise end of things, it's fairly subtle until after 5500 rpm when it's, ummm, noticeable .
