Default Ea82?

tearing apart some kind of old subaru engine at school, turbo of some kind, i kinda assume it is out of an ol legacy or something but i need to figure out what it came out of so i can look up the specs on the computer.

it's got ea82 stamped on the block in a couple diff places so i'm kinda assuming that's the engine series. old school guru's speak up.

i have the stamped engine number as well if it helps (984692), and if i ever remember i'll take the digi to school and take some photo's of the dirty bastard.

I think, from 1985 till 1990, you could buy a Subaru Loyale with a turbocharged 1.8L EA82 engine. I think you could also buy the 1800 and XT Coupe with that engine.
