Default Adding Driving Lights to 2003 RS

I want to add some Hella Driving Lights to my 2003 RS. I beleive the wiring is already in place since lights are standard on the WRX. I know I need a switch. Are there any other parts required such as a relay? Anyone tired this yet? Anyone have any wiring information?

I can see clearly now...

The in-place wiring is likely for foglights. While this is a good place to start, it is not sufficient. The fog lights are activated by a dash switch and are wired to come on only with the low beams. You'll find a mod on this board (and others) to make the foglights activate whenever any lights (high, low, parking) are on.

Driving lights should activate only with the high beams. This will require a relay driven by the positive signal from the fog light switch (in the dash) and the negative (switched ground) signal from your high beams.

The car is prewired for factory foglights. If you do go with the stock foglight wiring, you will need the foglight switch and the foglight relay. Your driving lights will only come on with the low beams though and they will shut off when you hit the brights. Not very useful for driving lights.

either do the foglight mod and use the stock wiring, or do new wiring with a relay. i have my driving lights come on automatically when i have my high beams on without a switch
