Lightbulb STi pricing

I apologize if this has been posted before...

"Brucelee: Petter, do you feel that Gronholm is going to be as big a threat as he was last year? Or do you feel the new car, and the experience that Subaru has gained in the last year to be sufficient in order to beat him, and the pugs? And for fun, how much will the new STi cost? (USA)

Petter_Solberg: He's a very good driver and will be the same threat this year as last year, but the plan is to beat him anyway!

Subaru_team1: The new STI pricing will be announced around mid May...sorry."

I copied this off of the chat with Peter Solberg on the official impreza site.

I guess we will have to wait until May to see how much the STi will cost!

2004 WRX STi (soon)

Dealers are supposed to be getting their first shipments in May...If that is the case, SOA won't tell us the price until we see it on the lots

I hope the same doesn't happen for the weight.

As I recall, that Edmunds chat was held on Jan 6, over two months ago. I guess it's inconceivable that anything in SOA's STi plan has changed since then.

Comment please
With the way the US currency is falling against most others FHI may have to raise the as yet unknown price.

The weight has already been posted by Jon
