Default Installing Whiteline Front Strut Tower Bar in a 2002 2.5rs

Does anyone who owns a 2002 2.5rs tried to install a wrx whiteline front strutbar? I am having problem because the strut bar is interfering with the a/c hose. I tried to put the bar above and below the hose, but didn't have any luck. Please help.
I tried to do a search, but I was unable to find any info about this. thanks.

dont have a whiteline but i installed a cusco. My cusco came with extra hardware to lower the ac line but this can still be done with out it.

you need to unbolt the bracked that holds it to the car near the drivers side. it should be bolted on there with two screws, (it might help to take off the clamp that holds the hose first)
unbolt these two screws and move the line down gently (you wont break it at all, just dont be to rough on it) bolt the bracket back in using one bolt placing the top of the braket in the bottom hole. Reconnect the hose to the clamp so the hose is secure. Now you may just have to pull the ac line towards the front of the car and down slightly, this should give you enough clearance.
good luck.

follow this first.....

I did it to my 02 OBS the other day...PITA!!!!

you can slowly and and gentley move the ca lines to fit around everything. I also removed that one bracket that holds the AC line.....I trimmed it (see filed) so that it would not rub anywhere....just keep at it and move things around unitl you fit it.

also when installing teh bar twist/lift the bar up slightly when you are tightening the allen bolts so that you wont hit your airbox and it wont come in contact with the AC or other lines running along the firewall.
