Default Stromung midpipe and scoobysport?

Will this work. what tye of exhuast is the scoobysport. it it a cat-back or just axle back? I dont really like the sound of the stromung especially at ide. it sounds like its farting. so you think it could be an exhuast leak? I need something that doesnt sound so stupid. anyoen have ideas? maybe gut out the cat? anyoe have sound clips of the ss?

scoobysport sounds great, no farting!! just rally goodness. i modified the wrx one to fit my 02 rs, and i had a custom midpipe made. you should have no problem using a stromung midpipe. The most you might have to do is rotate the flange but im not sure if you will even have to do that (dont remember how it sits on your car) and yes you can purchase the axleback section alone for about 500 dollars. they do make a full catback for one of the older rs's but im not sure which.

check out these:

good luck

they stopped selling catbacks for the GC/GM RSs iirc... they just have the axleback, which would work fine w/ a stromung mid pipe...

Along the same lines as this post. I was wondering if the Brullen midpipe will bolt up to the Scoobysport axle-back without any fitment issues. Also does the SS line up with all the stock exhaust hangers? Thanks.
