Default STi lighting improvements?

As a prospective STi owner and lighting freak, I'm curious what people have done to their > 03' WRXs for driving lights. Having owned cars with HID, I know there's improvement on low beam, but I'm concerned with improving the high beam/driving light.

I don't expect there to be too many options like the JDM or Morettes for the new body style STi, so what have people done for auxiliary lighting already? I have seen the PIAA dual beams on two WRX wagons recently - and that's it. I've had the PIAA 80 Pro XT and Hella 4000s before on other cars and wonder about mounting them (1) in the space where fogs were on the > '03 WRX or (2) above the bumper (which I would prefer). I know there's not enough room to mount the 4000s above bumper - and since the PIAAs' mounting bolt and adjustment are the same bolt, is there enough access and depth under the bumper cover to mount them above bumper?

I'm looking for subtle, so the brush guard/frame idea doesn't interest me. Photos would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Per the other bulb thread, it uses a 9005 high beam capsule. You could upgrade that...?
