Default STi Radio Chassis Size

Is the DIN chassis size for the headunit going to be the same in the STI as in the WRX? What size is it anyway?

Also, does anyone know of any good aftermarket NAV systems that would fit that can also control a CD changer and maybe even have XM capability?

I'd have to guess it's going to have the same 2-DIN slot that the Imprezas all have.

Talking Nav System

This is the system I have settled on. It appears to be the best bang for your buck. Alpine and Kenwood have systems as weel but seem over proced for what they give you.

Don't let the MSRP scare you. I have found it on the web for around 1700 - 1800 for the system. Only other thing you'll need is speakers.

Found this review of the nav system.

So does anyone know if the speakers will need to be extremely shallow in mounting depth like in the WRX?
