Question 03 vs 04 Rex

Soooo, what is the difference between the 03 and 04 WRX sedan ?

So far, all I have is the following:

a) new design for front fascia + headlights
b) option for moonroof
c) improved chassis strength
d) additional body colours
e) new front bucket seats

Is that it, or did I miss out on anything else ???

not a fan of the rear lights myself - i think they r trying to put the theme in the front with the back. headlights, grill, scoop is all better in my opinion - but i keep the 02-03 seats, more thigh and waist support vs 04 but 04 looks sportier but has less side support

-"aluminum" trim is darker... dosen't look as fake as before (still fake though)
- EBD brake assist
- different fabric
- steering wheel has softer leather/ more padded wheel rim, red logo
- side mirrors different

Ok, to summarize:

new design for front bumper
new design for headlights
improved chassis strength
new front bucket seats
17mm rear sway bar instead of the 20mm on the 02/03
Fold-down rear seat center armrest with trunk pass-through
new design for rear tail lights
new rear bumper
new layout of instrument gauges
>>>>>> bigger hood scoop <<<<<<<<<

y did they put a 17mm rear swaybar in the new design???

any advantage?

i know a bigger one would reduce understeer, which is neat IMO..

Cool

The only mechanical difference is a bigger power steering pump on the 04 WRX.

Um, this might be a dumb question, but what is the point in specifying cambers down to the nearest 5 hundredths of a degree when the tolerance is 45 hundredths of a degree? (see chart in that thread)

In other words, the specified camber for the STi is -0*30', while the specified camber for the WRX is -0*25'. But the tolerance is 0*45', so the WRX could end up being as low as -0*70' or as high as +0*20', while the Sti could range from -0*75' to +0*15'.

Or am I missing something?
