Default Question about sti hood scoop?

My dealer says my car will be here in june. And when it gets here there is damn good chance that Iam going to remove the wing from the trunklid or the trunklid it's self, (whatever I gotta do so I don't have to look at it any longer than possible) and try to get a wrx spoiler instead. But untill I see the car in person I have'nt made up my mind about

Your not going to get rid of the hood scoop as easily. With the wing you can just swap trunks with a regular wrx user with the same paint color. But the hood is a different dimension.

Yeah, you're going to have to swap the trunk lid... I posted some pics of why this is true earlier.. I think that thread has been archived, though.

The problem is that the WRX spoiler only uses 4 bolts to hold it on... the STi spoiler uses 10, due to it's larger size. You'd either have to fill the holes and repaint, or just swap the whole trunk lid.

Personally, I said I was gonna remove the spoiler until I saw it in person. Now I would not remove it, I think it looks much nicer in real life than it does in pics. The STi looks totally badass in real life.
