04 STi?

Default No BS...Spotted STI in Southern Cali

Pulled into the parking lot of Zooma Sushi and Coral Ranch Cafe in Malibu and I spotted the rear end of what I thought was a 04 WRX. As I drove by it, I saw the unmistakable "STI" Badge on the right rear side . I thought perhaps someone had bought a new 04 and put on the STI badge but upon further inspection, I saw the blue/black interior, the STI shift knob, the STI head cluster, the HUGE hood scoop, the gold BBS rims and Brembo brakes, and the ridiculous rear wing . I saw the STI at the Peterson automotive museum a few months back and there was no mistaking what I saw tonight. The license plate was a New Jersey Manufacturer plate and I'm assuming that the person driving it was from Subaru or a car magazine taking it for a test drive so don't get your hopes up. It was quite an experience to see it in person on the street especially considering some dealers around here don't even have the regular WRX yet. Anybody else see it? If you were the one driving it, fess up!

No AWD, Not interested

It was a Gary from Turbo/Import tuner; He was at Qualcomm Fri/Sat. If you didn't get a little tour, you missed out. It is sweet! Go over to the SCIC section and find sti at qualcomm thred.
