Looks nice. I am just wondering what is different about it from the regular Spec-C besides the colour. It seems to have the same mechanical features. Anyone know?

Looks like it has AC as one of the features. It has a transmission oil cooler, I don't know if that is standard on all Spec Cs. It looks like it's a Spec C with some added amenities that make it better for daily driving like power locks and mirrors. Doesn't look like anything different mechanically.

This page lists all the differences (ones with star are limited)

From what I'm seeing, its a heavier Spec C (1645 kg vs 1625 kg) with some normal STi stuff thrown in. Basically an STi and Spec C combined. Power output is the same as Spec C. Added are things such as the aluminum pedals, that ring around the shifter, electric folding rear view mirror, 17" wheel standard, outside thermometer, shift light (I didn't know the Spec C doesn't have that?), central power door lock, sun visors (the spec C only have driver side sun visor), the oh **** bar for the codriver (spec C has none). Plus its got a black interior trim, that looks really nice.

wheels are different too. Standard STi wheels.

Can't see the benefit over Spec C....

It's got thinner glasses.. no interior trim (look at the pic of the
trunk)... undercoating...

but it weighs 20kg more than Spec C..

STi = 1440kg
Spec C 17" = 1350
Spec C Limited = 1370

Spec C gas tank size (50 liter) from the STi's (60 liter)...
Engine oil cooler (Spec C has it too, I believe)

And, of course, the roof vent...

Also, I notice that STi will DCCD will come with 13.0:1 steering
ratio.... Cool...
(Yes, I know USDM will not have that... )

They probably want to produce more of these - mechanically its a Spec C, excpet people can have all the STi stuff that spec C is missing. Wonder why they limit it to 1000.

Make this a regular lineup, and strip the spec C some more, THEN call it the limited

That flat black interior is definitely hot.
