Default airbag question- wrx momo - 02 2.5

i am about to swap a wrx momo steering wheel into my 02 2.5rs i am getting the airbag with the wheel, my question is. can i leave the airbag in the momo wheel and just plug it into my harness? i know it will fit, but will it cause any problems?

or do i have to use the airbag that is already in my rs wheel and swap it into the wrx wheel.
thanks
Pat

you HAVE to put momo with it's airbad, since RS airbag won't fit into momo
just follow scoobymods directions, it's easy (except taking the stocker off )

I am resurrecting this post to ask if it is possible to swap a 02-04 WRX wheel into a 98-01 RS. Doable? This would be a nice little upgrade.
