Default Looking for generic 15x6 wheels, 35mm offset? and cheap

Id like to get a set of wheels for use on a strictly off road subaru project I have. Im looking for lower offset to help reduce and chance the larger tires would interfear with the spring perch or inner fender.

Steelies are fine, I just dont know what vehicles to look at. It needs to be the standard 5x100 subaru pattern.

Im thinking of using 215/75R15

Don't know what your budget is, but the Borbet Type S that Tire Rack sells is 15x7 with 35mm offset and 5x100mm bolt pattern. It's probably a little fancier than you were looking for, but they're pretty reasonably priced ($95 each).

Chuck H: Thanks for the suggestion, those arent so bad but I think they are too wide, I was thinking of thestock wheels used from another vehicle, which would most likely be 15x6

FWD Mopar wheels are your answer. K-cars up to 95 and even 'vert Sebrings and neons.

Some FWD GM wheels will work too.

Most FWD Mopars had wheels with 40mm offset. If you don't mind running 1/4 inch spacers, then they might be a good option because you can pick them up pretty cheap.

....wouldn't hurt much if you're mounting mudder tires though.....

Might want hubcentric spacers and/or better studs if you're going to mount some big meat....

Thanks for all the help guys! Didnt even think about using spacers to clean up any small clearance issues.

The vehicle only weighed 2800 pounds to start but had the same basic hub components as the first generation legacy. I plan to tear alot of stuff out of the car too so it should be lighter when Im done. Im not too woried about breaking things.

Im also buying a small welder on ebay so that when I do break it I can just slap it back on
