Default 2002 wrx stainless brake lines on 1999 gc8

I received a set of Goodridge stainless steel brake lines for a 2002+ GDA wrx instead of the lines for GC body cars. Will these fit on my 1999 RS. The vender where I got them from said he has talked to people that have made them fit but obviously wouldn't gaurantee it. What is the difference between the lines for GC and GD cars. Are the brakets where they mount to the struts in different places on the line?

Could you make them fit? I'm sure you could. Goodridge makes a set of the Old School Impreza and a different set for the New Age models for a reason though .

GD SS lines attach to the brake bracket thing on the strut via screws, GC via clips. I have GD SS lines on my GC, no problems, just the lines are ziptied to the struts.
