Best cleaning products
I was wondering what everybody's favorite cleaning products and techniques for cleaning and protecting
and anything else I might have left out.

Car: I have a birage of stuff, but here's the norm. If paint needs a little sprucing, The wax shop makes some stuff called safe cut which works good. Also, meguiar's #7 show car glaze is very good. Then when surface is prepped I use Zymol's Japon wax. Once a year I will use their prep stuff, HD-Cleanse.
Trim: Black magic's back to black
Tires: Turtle wax tire gel
Glass: Zep's industrial foaming window cleaner
Vinyl: Zymol protectant (I've been using different stuff to see what works best, the zymol stuff seems good and doesn't have silicone in it)
All that hard work and the results speak for themself.
Here's the last time I've waxed, cleaned the car VERY GOOD. I haven't been able to, due to a rash of people hitting my car and having things repainted.

If you ever find goo that wont come out on hard parts (metal or otherwise) try the gritty hand cleaner.
I got a driveshaft with some evil black goop on it. Even gasoline and carb cleaner wouldnt kill it. Hand cleaner took it right off (with a little rubbbing). I also bought a used legacy that had a 2mm layer of black goop on the stearing wheel. Any standard cleaners just smeared it around. The hand cleaner took it off real easy.

Re: Best cleaning products
Car - if i plan on polishing and waxing my car when im done washing it ill use dish soap to strip the old wax off, but normally ill use meguires soft gel, its like really thick and pink, works very well for how cheap it is.... and i like turtle wax hard shell paste wax b/c it lasts forever.
Leather - wish i had some
Glass - windex lol
Carpet - for a really good job, i remove my seats and febreeze and oxy-clean the entire thing, after which i vacuum it all
Vinyl - armor all wipes work very well, the sprays end up getting on the windshield and everywhere else
Wheels/Tires - meguire's endurance tire shine, it seriously lasts for a good week or so, and the wheels, i need to find something that works on my GT wheels, there such a pain to clean but when they are clean, its great.
just some pics one day after a mild clean up job.
