Question H6 Engine turbo mod?

Does anybody know if there is a turbocharger kit available for the Outback's H6 engine?

Also, how much of a performance ganin might I experience if i was to replace the stock air filter with a cold air intake?

Default performance

There is no turbo kit for the H6 motor setup. Allthough I do remember heari8ng about a guy with an SVX do a turbo on his 3.3. They are nearly the same motor. A turbo kit would have to be custom made. you are looking at paying around 8 to 12 grand for all the custom turbo kit, engine management, and dyno tuning (which is preferred). All in all it's a very large project with lot's of down time.

As for cold air intake, it will add some gains but not noticeable. you may lose some low end torque, but will gain high end torque. You should also consider exhaust because intake and exhaust work together. You will never see the full potential of either without the other.
Hope this answered your questions...
Good luck
