i just installed an Injen CAI for my 98GT and in a week or so i'll get my Brullen Full exhaust installed.

For the intake i lost some low end but i did gain some on the top end (this is with my stock exhaust). Hopefully when i get my brullen up and goin this should help it out more on the low end.

Check out INJEN for the intake.

That is one of the most annoying websites I've ever been to. Decent looking intake though.

I'd recommend the COBB intake myself, although Injen seems like a decent unit. I use a ganzflow myself and am happy, gains are minimal but it is not loud (I am trying to keep with somewhat of a sleeper theme...even though I have no power). PDM is another cost effective intake, especially if you want to maintain the stock airbox.

Default Try these....

Intake, still researching myself.

I tried the MRT performance exhaust, but there was fitment issues. So I returned it and am looking into a full SS exhaust.

Previous owner sold his GT to me with a Borla muff. So after my MRT ordeal, I'm looking into a Borla header, then Stromung exhaust with SS mid as well.

Good luck and have fun, a good exhaust will open up the GT for a bit more fun. If I had a bit more $$, I'd compliment the aftermarket exhaust with Cobb's hi-perf heads and cams.
