Default To all STI owners...

I am just curious and want to gauge a response here...

If the STI came as a wagon as well, would you have bought the wagon? Or seriously considered it depending on mechanical and price differences + insurance incentives?

I wanted a wagon. I almost bought a WRX wagon and then I heard about the STi, so I waited. . .and no STi Wagon! Doh. I probably should have known.

When I am driving around I sometimes wish someone would total my car in a rear-end collison so I could take the engine, tranny and some other bits and put them in a new WAGON. I have not idea how possible a swap like that would be, but I'd sacrifice the extra weight for the versatility in a second.

I like my sedan...probably cause my other car is an Outback wagon

The Turbo Forester is the next best thing to STi wagon plus the sun roof is awesome on it

Okay it's not available here. At least not yet.
But it'll be in Japan. Yeah, it does look more like a
station wagon than a sport wagon, but it still
looks pretty mean from the front and rear.
(I almost prefer this Legacy's front end to the STi's).

Peace out,

I like wagons but it would have been a tough decision. Let me see an STi wagon and its pricing and aerodynamics and I could tell you.

It's no secret that I would have taken the wagon for the same price. It would have eliminated the only part of the car that I don't really like a lot...the wing

would have gone with the wagon..... the practical idea of a wagon ALMOST (but not quite) made me not buy the sti

but then i realized that the sti was as good or better than mosted modified wagons and still had a warrenty..... (sometimes i still wished i had bought a wagon though.....)
