Default STI Commands Presence at Oregon Rally

Let me start off by saying condolences to Mark Lovell and Roger Freemans families

I arrived at the Oregon Rally in my black STI and got as much if not more attention than most of the Rally cars parked there. Then a guy (can't remember his name) pulls up in a yellow 2004 EVO and parks right next to me (I will post pictures later assuming they turn out). The two of us parked together got all kinds of attention. It was pretty cool. I hears alot of "I haven't seen one of those yet. Wow, does it really have 300 hp?"

After stage 3 I was nosing around the pits and taking pictures of an EVO IV from Nordic motors when the co-driver starts frantically looking for a car to go fetch some part. I tell her I have a car as long as she doesn't mind a Subaru and the driver comes over (a Finnish gentleman) and we start running to the car. It seems he had blown his turbo and had to run to the truck to get another (a mile or so away). He was under a time restriction so we weren't wasting any time. We threw the Turbo in the trunk and I took him back to the pits. I know he was a Mitsu driver but he was a racer in need so no flames!

What other sport around allows a guy like me help a pro-driver out in the pits? This sport rocks!

There's no rivalry when the other side needs help, and rallying is the greatest motorsport evar (imo)
