Default ECU Fix on all inbound STis?

All,

I spoke with my dealer today. He just received my invoice for a car that's leaving Japan today and will arrive at port at the end of the month. He reports that his regional rep confirmed that the ECU fix will already be present in this car as well as all following cars, and that this was the reason for the 2-3 week delay in shipping of this allotment. This makes all the sense in the world to me, but can anyone out there (Porter? Sparks?) confirm or deny this? I'll be meeting up with some other STi owners in Colorado when I pick up the car, so I'll have a chance to "butt dyno" the cars back-to-back. But I'd like to hear from another Subaru source that the cars enroute have already been patched.

Thanks!

someone with "official" contacts previously denied this, but it sounds pretty plausible now.
