Default Photoshoot of White STi

Hi guys,

A local photograher did a photoshoot of my STi as well as a yellow NSX and 350. Good pics of the white/gold combo which is extremely rare in Canada (white/gold is not an option).

Holy cow!!!! Compared to the other cars the STi looks like a 4x4!

I have noticed that the STi does not easily photograph as well as most other cars. . . I think because of its roundness. This photographer, however, understands that getting back further and zooming-in eliminates the "overly-bubble-like" shape of the nose on the STi when photographed up closer. I give him high marks for figuring that out.

I have done the same thing with my Civic. . . being that it's one of the roundest Civic designs made. And I get compliments on how my pictures always make my car look better than most other peoples'.

Just a little observation from your neighborhood ametuer photographer.

Did you guys rent the whole track?? That's so hot! Nice shots and pretty good photoshop skill. However I don't know about those soft filter shots, kind of too soft for these cars IMHO.

Actually you are allowed on the track any time. You can't go lapping on the track since it has speed limits and is used daily by rollerbladers/bikers.

We showed up around 4:45AM to take those shots and make sure no one was there.

Glad you all liked them.

The hood shot that exposes the engine was taken with a camera on a tripod that took a shot of the engine closed and then open and superimposed with me out of the picture.
