Default Defi gauges.

Planning to install Defi gauges as one of my first mods. Best place to buy? Want to use the larger 60mm gauges for easier/quicker viewing (old folks). Also seeking input on which gauges to get. Boost for sure, after that I am unsure what is the most critical to monitor on these cars. Fuel pressure? EGT? Oil temp or pressure? Is the a better gauge choice than the Defi's? How about the "pod" will Defi have that or is that a dealer only part?

Boost, EGT, Oil Temp. Many like Oil Pressure & Fuel pressure, but IMHO for daily driving these are the most critical. Oil Temp is more indicitive of motor temp than coolant temp is. Getting on a motor that is too cold is just as bad as getting on a motor running too hot... sometimes worse.

I agree 100% with Obsidian. I have always felt that the oil pressure guage is one of those "too little too late" gauges..

find max
u can bargain with them, but expect a 2 weeks wait

i'd say oil press. egt and turbo

i prefer the oil press over the temp because sometimes if u're low on oil u'll know
oil temp is just the temp,
synthetic oils will do the trick on the oil temp
